My roles at Cano

What's the challenge?

50% of the waste in large cities is packaging. Cano's purpose is to help cafeterias and food courts eliminate single-use packaging, transition to a 100% reusable solution, and encourage their clients to have effortless habits that will reduce their environment footprint.

What are our client's need?
Based on research and interviews

Our clients, cafeterias and foodcourts mainly, need a system that will require a minimum involvement from their employees. A service that is easy to install at their locations and a large community using Cano to have a significant impact on the environment.

What are our user's need?
Based on research and interviews

Our users want to contribute to helping save the environment without putting in too much efforts. They also want to learn about their environmental footprint, and be rewarded for the efforts they've made.

What are the outcomes?

After many versions of the app, we were able to refine our product to the point where our clients were very satisfied. The Cano system doesn't require any action from our clients or their employees, and the system is easy to implement. We also noticed that 95% of the users use our system properly and understood how Cano works. Nonetheless, we still have to improve the user adoption and find ways to grow our community.

Web app, Adidas, 2019

What's the challenge?

Find a way to help the internal team create and share information that describes the upcoming products, marketing campaigns, and strategies for futur seasons. Our team focused mainly on the workflow system to help the user navigate easily and focus on the key tasks while using the platform (Adidas GTM-Hub).

Client: Adidas, Master
in Interaction design

Roy Platon, Consultant/Business Mentor. The Final Pitch, Manila, Philippines.

" It's difficult to differentiate which tasks are most urgent and dependant on others "

Liam Lin, Sales Representative. Sanyeu Building Matireal Co, Taichung City, Taiwan

" If you want to have a validation from your boss, it takes forever "

Marta Bacardit, Project Manager, Nestlé, Barcelona.

" I use to do lists for everything but it's all over the place. It would be great if the tasks are created automatically! "

Manuela Procopio, Co-founder, WePush, Bogota/Barcelona.

" I use a lot of voice messages to explain to my team what to do "

Lamiaa Amzil, Data Scientist, Cloud DX, Waterloo, Canada.

" Everyone name the files as they please, then it's hard to find the files. "

User research: insights
from the interviews

A summary of the users pain points.
‍Based on research and interviews

It's hard for the users to keep track of the tasks and feedback. The tools usually lack personalization and finally, assigning tasks and following up takes a lot of time.

Insights from the user research

Hypothesis (x3)

If we visually display the tasks based on their importance, then the user would know where to put his focus. If the system automatically assigns the tasks, then the workflow management will become simpler and faster. If the system allows a way of keeping track, then the user would constantly be aware of the updates.

GTM-Hub Userflow

Wehat are the next steps?

The next prior step is to test the new features on the GTM-Hub with employees at Adidas. We based the research on potential users, with similar profiles (as the ones working at Adidas) since communicating with the internal team was a struggle and time was limited for this project.

Interactive installation,
Sonar +D, 2019

What's the challenge?

Create an interactive installation to discover music and sound differently at the Sonar festival. The public at the festival must live a memorable experience.

Sonar: electronic music festival, Barcelona.

What do we suggest?

A new way to create music. By using augmented reality, we want to transform tattoos into real life instruments.  Each tattoo triggers a custom set of sounds and frequencies which can be modified in real time depending on our body movements.
